Message From Dy COO U Thant Zin
The first quarter of 2025 has already ended, and we are all working together as a team to make this year a year of positive change and growth for Hana Microfinance Myanmar.
However, our field operations are still facing heavy workloads and serious challenges. We can only overcome these difficulties through each team member’s responsibility, understanding, and mutual respect.
As we aim to become a successful microfinance company (MFI) in the long term, the quality of our field teams is extremely important.
Especially important are:
- Each staff member’s ability to carry out their responsibilities
- Trust and accountability among team members
- The quality of our loan disbursements
- Support from managers
- Mutual respect between all levels of the team
When facing challenges beyond our control, we should not see them negatively. Instead, we should see them as opportunities to show our strength and unity.
Most importantly, we must value our team’s trust, loyalty, and responsibility, because they are the foundation of Hana’s long-term success.
As a microfinance company, strong trust-based relationships between the company and the clients are crucial. Also, one of Hana’s key KPIs and targets—portfolio quality—should be achieved through mutual trust and value-driven service.
Clients need to commit to regular repayments, and staff must take full responsibility to deliver the best services to clients.
Let us move forward together this year with a focus on change, improvement, and high quality.
