Aung Kyaw Myo, Branch Manager, Myingyan
Q: As a Type B branch recognized for the highest collection recovery, could you share your feelings about this achievement?
A: Despite focusing on safety and working persistently amidst external challenges, we didn’t expect to receive an award. So, being selected by Hana for the Collection Award is a big surprise for Myingyan Branch (MYGN), and we’re genuinely delighted. Being recognized this way has boosted our morale, and we take pride in the chance to contribute to HMF.
Q: Could you share your experience on how you managed to connect with clients and handle collections in the face of challenges?
A: For collections, we identify high-risk areas and assess current situations carefully, creating a time-based collection plan. Our staff are well-informed about each client’s data and use the most effective communication channels to reach out. When meeting clients, we emphasize Hana Microfinance’s commitment to our members’ well-being, building trust and demonstrating that HMF MYGN is here for the long term. Our successful collections have been achieved largely through this collaboration and shared understanding with our clients.
Given the current situation, thanks to our clients’ suggestions on suitable collection times, we’ve been able to collect repayments successfully. Although the internet connection here is not very reliable, and no one wants to work as a digital money agent, our clients have managed to make their loan repayments directly from their own accounts. These are the key reasons we’ve achieved successful collections. To sum up, the collective effort from MYGN’s team, optimized use of resources, and strong teamwork with clients has driven our collection success. Thank you.
