Interview with Mudon Branch Manager for Best Branches in PAR Reduction (November 2024)

How do you feel about being the branch with the most significant reduction in PAR for November? 

As staff members, we are very happy and proud to have received this award, as it recognizes the hard work and effort we have put in to achieve this result. 

As a branch manager, how did you work to reduce PAR? What did the relevant staff members do to help achieve the largest reduction in PAR? 

To reduce PAR at the Mudon branch, we held morning meetings with the staff every day, during which we planned the collection strategies for Daily Due, Overdue, and Write-Off cases. We ensured that collections were uploaded within the set timeframes, and the remaining team members, along with the FO/IFO staff, followed up on collections. We also shared weekly targets and actual data, discussed them, and worked on finding solutions. Staff members worked hard to ensure that overdue amounts were collected as quickly as possible, especially in areas with higher overdue rates. They kept in regular contact with clients to ensure no interruptions in communication and encouraged them to make payments as per the agreed dates in the DDFR, motivating clients to settle their debts. Additionally, we made phone calls to remind members of the payment dates, to avoid any delays in loan repayments. We made efforts to coordinate and support members as best as we could. This collective effort from all staff members, through diligent and continuous follow-up, was crucial in achieving this significant reduction in PAR.
