The 21st Townhall, the October 2024 Townhall, was successfully led by CEO U Min Min Zaw. Over 450 employees from branch offices participated online, along with more than 80 employees from the head office, totaling nearly 530 attendees. During this month’s Townhall, new programs were introduced, and some adjustments were made based on employees' suggestions. CEO U Min Min Zaw delivered the opening speech and introduced new employees who joined Hana in September to both head office and branch employees.
The Admin Department presented updates on workplace safety measures for staff, while the Risk Management Division gave a detailed briefing on current Operational Risk Checklists, Client Rating System, and AML/CFT/WMD protocols. The SIT Department shared information on common fraud and corruption cases, explaining how to prevent them, and reiterated the importance of reporting incidents confidently, outlining the available reporting channels. The CEO then shared updates on the company’s vision, goals, and current status, and acknowledged the hard work of employees at various branches during September’s challenges. Branches that received the Best Performing Branch award were Lawksawk, Einme, and Nyaungdon branches. Branches receiving the Best Branches in PAR Reduction award were Hmawbi, Thanbyuzayat, and Theinpyu branches. The Type B (Top Collection) award went to Sagaing, Myingyan, and Kale branches. CEO Min Min Zaw expressed his appreciation and congratulated all Branch Managers (BM), Assistant Branch Managers (ABM), and branch staff for their efforts in achieving these awards.
Following this, the CEO led a Recap Quiz for head office and branch employees, with both in-person and online participants actively engaging in answering questions. Next, relevant department heads responded to selected questions posed by branch staff to management levels.
The event concluded successfully with C-level leaders leading a collective recitation of Hana Microfinance’s 2024 slogan.
