The Legal & Compliance Team has been providing a monthly Online KYE Awareness Program for staff from different branches. For this October session, the team delivered the program to the following branches:
November 7 – Mawlamyine Kyun Branch (22 staff) and Palaw Branch (9 staff)
November 11 – Hlegu Branch (16 staff)
November 17 – Pindaya Branch (15 staff)
November 18 – Hmawbi Branch (15 staff)
November 21 – Thein Phyu Branch (20 staff)
November 28 – Hinthada Branch (14 staff) A total of 111 staff attended.
The sessions for Thein Phyu and Hlegu branches were conducted in person, while the remaining branches joined online.
During the Online KYE Program, the team discussed the following topics with staff from the 7 branches:
NDA Awareness
AML/CFT/WMD Awareness
CTR/STR Awareness
Records Keeping Awareness
Fraud Prevention Awareness
Understanding Sanctions
IRC Awareness
Staff who attended the sessions were also required to complete a Microsoft Forms quiz based on their job positions.
